Reviews Analysis

Analyze statistics of positive and negative reviews for any period of time.

View positive and negative review statistics for any selected time period, categorized by country for App Store applications and by language for Google Play applications. 

This analysis provides valuable insight into user sentiment and helps developers understand how their applications are perceived in different markets. This level of granularity not only improves user engagement, but also supports informed decisions about marketing, feature enhancements, and overall application performance.

 

To access Reviews Analysis, go to Reviews & Ratings and select Analytics Reviews Analysis from the top menu:

 

Use the interactive chart to view detailed statistics on reviews filtered by various criteria:

  • Breakdown by country or version;
  • Countries (for App Store) or languages (for Google Play);
  • Date range;
  • Review changed (became better / worse) or not changed;
  • Tagged or untagged reviews.

You can also search for any review by its text or by the content of the reply.

And there is an option to analyze filtered reviews using saved filters from the Reviews & Replies board.

 

The data can be displayed as a bar chart or as a chart showing daily, weekly, or monthly values.

The vertical lines with dates indicate the days when an application was updated.

 

The following data is displayed below the chart:

  • Number of reviews for selected period;
  • Average review rating for selected period;
  • Percentage and number of reviews with each rating.

 

Below is a list of selected countries along with the relevant data for each country:
